that's in spec.
a more telling test is the leakdown test, that is how long it holds compression.

number 6 cylinder is at 150.
Don't sweat it. That's a good number, especially for 224K and within 10% of the other cylinders. Leak down test might tell you where the pressure is leaking from, but at that small difference it would be hard to tell.

Did the mechanic squirt some oil in the cylinder to see if the pressure came up? That would be a better way to tell if valve or ring. But if ring you'd be crazy to rebuild for 150 psi.

This year I am planning on removing the heads and having them done.
Are you doing the heads because of this low cylinder, or just because?

And, of course, a truck with over a half a million miles is really something!!
