What's everyone been up to? Any progress out there?
I just ordered a black box from nwf for my ranger. I saw they now make an adapter to convert a rbv to accept full size doublers and T-cases. Only $489...
Since I've got the 5.0 swap I don't need it, just a fyi.

If you ever order from them there is aditional charges like taxes and international shipping charges which amounted to just under $100 for my order.

International charges? Aren't they in Washington?

I got my atlas bolted in. Just need to have Wes build me a cross member and I gotta grind out my f
Dana 60 yoke so it doesn't bind when drooping. Oh and have a rear driveline made. If I can get that all done this week maybe I'll go wheeling with Wes next weekend.

Nope, they're on Vancouver Island in B.C. Canada eh.
Why don't you just add a CV joint at the yolk?

Like a cv at both ends? I guess that could work. I was just going to make it work till I can link it at which time I can point the pinion up at the correct angle.

Oh you already have a CV on one end? I assumed you had no CV. Can you flip it around? The Cv should be at the end that has the sharpest angle unless it is set up to only be one way.

Did we already shim the pinion up? I don't remember how much caster you had.

Yeah axle is already shimmed. I think if I grind out the yoke a bit it will be ok. It couldn't have been rubbing too bad. If that doesn't fix it I'll get one of those off set u joints tom woods makes. I think that should work for now.

Since its never going to go above 20ish mph I think I can live with bad caster till it gets links. When I'm doing that, I can cut and turn the C's.

Dropped the expo of with Wes. The magician is now at work. Got all the bits I need to install a cb radio so I can whisper sweet nothings into his ear from my explorer. Also ordered a super beefy rear driveline with 1350 joints and the tube is 2 3/4 .188 wall. The guy said I should be able to beak on it really hard and have no problems. Also ordered new tom woods high angle u joints for the front for now, in 1310s. Also got a new 1310 dana 60 yoke. That will hold me over till I can get new 1350 yokes for the dana 60 and atlas and then have a proper driveline built.

Also got the viair 480c in the mail. That will get set up this winter when I install the arb I got. The explorer is actually making progress. Too bad I'm super broke now and can't dump anymore money into it for a while now. Hopefully she wheels the way she sits for a yearish. Maybe less.

Anyone know if there are any heavy duty transmission mount and engine mount options besides auto fab? Mine are pretty well shot.

This place is dead! Wes and I do hood rat stuff still. And Morgan wrenches on his project. We should do a meet up sometime. I know Wes and Morgan would be down for old times sake.

I'm still rewiring my rig. Gotta rewire the entire truck for the most part. I THINK I've got it figured out though. Just waiting for it to dry up. I messed with it yesterday. Gonna pick up a new relay and see if that fixes my issue.

Maybe me. Kinda depends on how this house thing goes. Also gonna be borrowing trailers till I can get a better one. Mine sucks plus it won't make it up my new steep driveway. Where you going?
