Is there a way to repair the sensor in the washer reservoir? I have hunted high and low looking for a NOS washer reservoir to replace mine and I have got close, but no luck... I didn't know if someone out there has fixed theirs before... My LED light in my center console stays on, so i unplugged it. But I would like to have it repaired. Anyone???

Thanks!

Put the word out (^^^^ like this) and be a bit patient. Anybody know what the interchange (including years) on these reservoirs was on RBV, F150s and Big ole cars like the crown Vic (maybe even mustangs - can't remember what that looked like)? I have one from an 88 Ranger sitting on the shelf right now, but I bet you can find one lots closer to Texas!

I'm pretty sure (from visual memory) the trucks (and probably more) all used the same (or similar) reservoir. If so, they're pretty easy to swap over. If not the innards are probably the same, just need someone who's hands on to confirm it.

All the ones on eBay do NOT have the sensor for the LED light. But I did locate one in Iowa, at first they said it didn't have a sensor in it and it was mislable. So I called back and sure enough it was the right one. SO i got it..

PN # e3tz-17618-B ... THE "B" is the sensor the "A" is without.

But thanks again guys! I was going to delete this message but didn't know how. thought maybe it would be useful for someone else.

Thanks!
