has anyone done a tasteful swap from the electronic push button 4wd to a manual lever to change it?

It's not hard IF you can find the parts. You'll still have the push-buttons in the cab to deal with though. If that bothers you.

Basically, get the transfer case, shifter, floor plate, and shifter bezels from an early Ranger/BII.

thanks guys, you gave me some ideas, I already changed out automatic hubs to manual
on my 89 bII. I have a manual transfer case and linkage, been looking for double shift boot
pretty hard to find. But the dash bezel in a manual shift should be solid, might be a good
spot for some gauges once the electric switch is removed. plan on putting my transfer case
in once the snow is gone.will run with the electronic case till then.

Buttons are easy, there is a delete plate in every 2wd ranger/b2/expo from 89-94 that just snaps in.
