12.5sec in 1/4 mile is very respectable for a Ranger, or pretty much any street vehicle.

it has a c4 transmission and a 3:55 gear with a 28 tall et street. this is not a street truck race track only. i think im going to go to a 4:30 gear before to long

Thanks for the info, I've got an 87 I'm putting a 402"(351w) c4 setup in and was going to use 3.73 but may need more gear. I was running 4.56s in a foxbody with this setup and turning 7300 rpms at the quarter on a 28" tire.

i could not find a 9 inch

I could not find a bolt in 9 inch housing. so I'm building the 8.8 with 33 spline axles, spool , and dics brakes , axle tubes welded. they said it would take like 6 weeks. hope it drops a second or so off the et's. 11.50s or so would be good but if its faster I will not be mad.

My credo
Built not bought
Very nice sir . Truck looks awesome also . I'm hoping after I finish my motor install and flatbed , I'll be able to throw a nice tire setup like yours for the track . My build is mostly for a street beater though . Let's see them mid 11's now [emoji106]?[emoji482]

yeah when I was younger I did it on the street just about every weekend. they pulled my driver licenses for 1 year and I had to get a driver license to drive to work only so I stopped all street stuff. track only is a lot cheaper

got it a little faster but the tail housing broke. I fixed the driveshaft angle and just need to finish it. I'm going to take it to a dyno and have the A/R checked. I may try and get it the horsepower up with timing.
