I am starting on my 5.0 swap from a 99 mounty to a 00 ranger and have a few questions trying to keep the cost down. I have searched and not found an answer to them yet.
1 it seems everyone is using a 4.0 radiator in the swap but can you use the 5.0 radiator? my truck was a 3.0 and somehow the radiator was twisted some and I don't trust it.
2 all the 4406 swap threads seem to use a manual case and they are dealing with getting the lights to work but I was wondering if the electric 4406 would plug into the ranger and work? ( I don't want to have to cut the floor and work up a shifter)
3 how involved is it removing the ignition tumbler and the ring for the pats?
I am sure I will have more as I go but these are the basics
