So I don't get to drive the ranger to much but took a little camping trip and had a little problem. Only drove 190 miles each way and the Power steering expelled all its fluid all over every were it could possibly come from. Just ordered reman pump new hoses, filter for the power steering and a new tranny cooler. Plan is to use the stock tranny cooler for the power steering. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated

I think that is an awesome idea, using the trans cooler for PS, if you have a manual trans.

I was gonna do that until my rad sprung a leak and the one without the cooler was cheaper.

Honestly if I would have done a little research I would have got the Saginaw pump. Ended up getting a couple of unexpected paid days off this week so I got the pump, filter and new hoses installed yesterday. Flushed the crap out of the box, wasn't paying attention to what was happening under the truck, so ended up with a couple quarts of type F running down the driveway! Got it all bled started her up and no leaks and the screaming cat is gone!
I'm going to do the cooler deal when I service the trans. The plan is to leave the cooler lines going through the rad. So I don't have to screw with the hard lines and replace the stacked cooler on the core support with a much larger unit and use the small one for the steering.
