302/M5od-r2 installation

Is it better to install a 302 with the transmission attached or install the motor then install the trans from the bottom?

Probably going to be too long even with a bodylift.

With mine the 2.8/A4LD was much tighter to get out than the 302/C5 was to get in... 302/C5 was much shorter. M5ODR2 is an inch longer (4wd) than an A4LD so you have that and all the extra length from the 302.

I have a 3" bodylift too.
