I accidentally posted this in the wrong place but i thought I'd post it here because i might need to drive my truck tonight in the dark. The headlights are way out of adjustment and practically pointed down even with the adjuster maxed out. I'm thinking that when i replaced my headlight assemblies i might have switched and adjuster with a pivot point. Can someone tell me the adjuster location for a 93 ranger? I appreciate it.

I'm not trying to sound pushy but I don't want to drive it tonight with floodlights instead of normal headlights??

Outside of perhaps a car wash I cannot think of anything simpler than adjusting headlights! Perhaps the reason nobody has answered is because they don't think you can handle the answer.
Just go out there with a screwdriver and look the problem over. The answer to headlight adjusting is self evident. If you look the problem over and still cannot decide what to do to raise the them, then look again it will come to you what should be done.

Your hilarious. I knew there were people like you everywhere but i didn't realize it was so common. Maybe if you read the post instead of being a total jackass you'd understand th at I'm trying to figure out where the adjusters go not HOW to adjust them. I know how to adjust them, i just figured that if the adjusters are maxed out and still not pointed right there mught be something wrong. Next time, read the post first.

Thank you. It seems i have them installed right but there might be something up with the aftermarket adjuster. I already had to modify it once so I'll take a look at it.

Edit: okay i don't want to start off on the wrong hand here. This seems like a good forum and I don't wanna screw myself over. Yeah I was a dumbass fir posting in the wrong forum. Yes, it was wrong for me to call him a jackass. I just felt like he kind of insulted me by saying i couldn't handle the answer. Maybe I'm being too picky I don't know. Anyways @Jim sorry i called you that, thanks for offering help. And @Mickey, if you truly are a veteran, thank you for serving. Have a good one :icon_thumby:

Well i took it to a shop to have them adjusted and it turns out they can't be. The adjusters are just cheap and one is maxed out and the other, the whole thing spins. It looks like I'm putting factory headlights back on. Does anyone have reccomendations on where to get good quality headlights and adjusters?
Thanks
Michael

When I need a part like that I always got to craigslist or eBay and find someone parting out a similar vehicle. I then ask for the part I need. I have always been successful. If you are near a pickapart then that would be an option also.

You never know what you'll find at a pick-a-part! Sometimes people replace stuff just before totalling their vehicle off or its engine cacks etc.

The place near me, parts are all off a fixed price list (ie: doesn't matter if its brand new or ratched to hell, all the same price), so sometimes you get lucky.

Good luck!
