Hey Team,

I was checking under the hood and noticed a grounding terminal that had no wire attached. Looked around and found two broken pieces of wire, one is red and the other is black w/ green stripe. This was on the driver's side front fender well. I looked down at the wiring harness and finally saw the two broken ends, so I spliced in a temporary connection from the broken ends to the grounding terminal. After starting the truck I checked everything, but didn't notice any changes.

So--what do these wires go to? I checked the wiring diagram in the Haynes Manual but called no joy.

Pictures are attached--hope they help.

Man ive been trying to find some decent wiring prints for the mazda but no luck. I couldnt tell ya what those wires do, but generally red is POS and black/green would be NEG so i wouldnt recommend putting the RED to chassi ground. I would just leave them disconnected until you can figure out exactly what it is. If you find some decent wiring prints let me know. ill do the same.
