Likely going to pick up a winch for my trailer soon, and would like to mount it on a reciever so I can use it on my trucks, but there's one tiny thing nagging me...

I can find quick connectors no problem, but they're a set.

I only need 2 male (arbitrarily picking a gender) connectors, one for on the winch itself, and the other for the end of the jumper to make it to the trailer. The rest of the vehicles would just be female connectors, 4 in total. Front and rear, 2 trucks.

But I haven't found any. Does anyone know any secret tricks to finding some? Or am I stuck buying 5 sets at ~$22 a pop and not using 1/2 of 3 sets?

I also found some 5-pair bulk sales on E-bay for a bit of a deal, but none of the good stuff, I'm looking for at LEAST 2ga/350A rating. If possible one step larger on the wire size, as these cables might get long for my GMC.

I'm not on my computer so can't pull a pic, but there are connectors use by most winch manufacturers that are mirror images. So they will work at either end. Both the negative and positive are beside each other and can't be cross connected. I've found them at princess auto ( harbor freight ) and online. They are probably what you are looking at for $22 a pair.

A little more than $22 for these, but they are supposedly heavy enough for what I'm trying to accomplish. I don't think the ones I have my eye on are the mirrored type.

I'll have to check around more tomorrow for the other type, I'm about to head to bed. That'd be much handier, and I'd have one essentially for a spare to use anywhere.

These were the other ones I was looking at:

only 175A rating and supposedly accepts 0ga wire. The winch I'm looking at says it could pull up to 300a @ max load. I doubt I'll see quite that much, but I'd like the capacity to be there and not melt things or set my truck on fire.

Egads!, I might not have a choice. I'm also starting to suspect the original ones I'm looking at do not have the amperage rating specified in the details.

Finally can across these guys rated at 350A and they're ginormous, much like all the others that also specify 350a and also go for about $45. These are at $46 and they don't even come with a cap... Nearly $250 just for connectors for convenience is out of my willingness to pay for.

I guess my best bet is these that I happened to finally come across:
