I was bored and had about 30 minutes to kill. So I got out the sawzall and viola. what do you think? 60/40 seats into buckets.
before

after

I got a cheapo console for now and may get an OX locker and use the room for the shift lever for that.

I can't see the difference...can you see the differnce?

Looks like you just removed the 60/40 and installed Explorer seats...

that is awesome that you say that. actually I removed the driver side of the bench seat, peeled back the seat cover, cut the foam with a hacksaw, cut the metal bracket with a sawzall, cut the seat cover to desired lenghth and then tied it down under the seat with several peices of shoelace(dont tie to the part that slides or it will pull loose) I will try and get more pics up to explain the process and which bracket NOT to cut if you still want a seatbelt.

Well you did a great job on it...I was looking at the upholstery seam and you can't really tell that the seat was chopped...

A tech library item would be good because so many people just yank out the seats and install others...so if they don't have to go searching for different seats, hardware, and all that noise it might be a project others would consider...if they have the sawzall and other equipment...
