- My credo
- In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
hey, y'all!
I am getting ready to order a bunch of stuff for my lift and axle upgrade project. While changing gears and adding a lunchbox locker to my new rear axle, I would like to install a c-clip eliminator kit if I can do it for a reasonable price. I want to just add the bearing kit to my existing axles if possible, but am having trouble finding the right kit to order.
The axle is a 31-spline 8.8 from a 2002 FX4. All the kits I am finding seem to be for the narrower 28-spline axles or they include new axles which makes them a lot more expensive. I believe the bearing ID's need to be 1.625", but have not measured them yet. Everything I find is for 1.4".
Does anyone here have an actual confirmed part number for what I'm looking for?
