Fuel pump concerns....

Doing a carburerated 351W in an 88 ranger.. will the fuel pump in the tank be sufficient for a stock 351?

The '88 should have the low pressure in tank pump and then the high pressure pump in the frame rail.

Not sure what the PSI rating is on just the in tank pump.

Your best bet, IMO, would be to get a fuel pressure regulator with return line, install that on existing lines, that way the 35psi could be adjusted down to whatever you need.

The in tank pump is 5-7 psi.
