They make spray paint specifically for plastics in a very good variety of colors. Check them out.

The instrument cluster just had a different backing put on the face. You can find those on ebay.

There's 3 screw below the air and heat controls if you run your fingers around the edge of the plastic molding where it meets the dash you will feel them

... sometimes before I attempt to take appart a piece on my truck that I'm unsure how to get off I'll go to a wrecker and find the part on one of their trucks and see how it's done :nono:

it's 2 screws below the radio but above the hvac controls, 7mm socket and just pull it off. plastic primer, paint, clear. mask off or remove the 4x4 knob, 12v sockets, air vents, and fog light switch if you have them. you could also purchase a Haynes Manual from autozone for $20. it has every detail you could ever need to completely disassemble/reassemble the truck.
