i'm out in the market for a set of lights to help out in bad weather for the area that i live in near buffalo ny any suggestions are welcome

Well first you need to find out what is legal. Some states are only allowed so many lights to be on at once. In Ohio you are only allowed 5 white lights on at a time but can have as many amber lights as you want. Also you want to make sure the lights you get wont be a nuisance to other drivers. I have a really bright light bar that I don't use on the road because I know it would leave other drivers seeing stars for a minute and that's just not safe. I would get a nice set of LED fog lights and mount them low on the bumper and angle them down. You can find nice sets of fog lights on ebay for under $20. Check whats legal first though.
