A good bosch wire set and stock motorcraft plugs in my opinion. I also like autolite single platinum plugs.

Use double platinum plugs. Ford uses a waste spark system so you need the double for equal wear (google waste spark system). Otherwise just use copper and change them more often.

I prefer MC wires over Bosch. Performance wise they are about the same but I tend to have fewer issues with the Motorcraft ones coming apart when I take the wires off.

You can usually get MC wires cheap on Rock Auto.

I also like Motorcraft wires (from Rock Auto) and use Autolite Double Platinum plugs.

My credo

You can get the Taylor thundervolt wires. Idk how worth it they are but I can verify that they have much less resistance than other wires, my ohm reader said the ngk wires I had were at about 1500ohms for each wire. The Taylor's were at 100ohms. Pretty good imo.

Use either iridium or double platinum auto lite or motorcraft plugs.

Yes, I agree. I've found they don't leak spark as much as the Bosch wires as well. I've felt the Bosch wires are a one use deal.

Oh, and Autolite and Motorcraft plugs are pretty much the same deal. They are both made by Honeywell as I recall.
