I’m looking for some advice on my next step. My water outlet pipe has cracked and the part is obsolete. The only ones I have found don’t have ports for temp sensor nor the port for the heater hose. Has anyone else ran into this problem, and what did y’all do to get back running?

Welcome to TRS :)

Is this what you are trying to replace: https://www.stockwiseauto.com/motorcraft-rh16-engine-coolant-thermostat-housing?Year=1984&Make=Ford&Model=Ranger

Thermostat housing?

And old part can't be fixed with JB Weld?
There is only ever 14psi pressure in there, assuming 14psi rad cap

You can make similar setup using radiator hose "bungs", these install on upper and/or lower rad and/or heater hoses
Examples here: https://www.summitracing.com/int/search/part-type/temperature-sender-fittings

Correct, that thermostat housing is exactly what I am working with. I have jb weld setting up on it now and I’m going to try that this evening. Thank you for your response and help!

That should fix it, you did both sides, outside and inside on the crack right :)

If it cracked at one of the theaded sensor/sender holes install the sensor/sender first, then use the JB Weld

Leave lower threads bare on sender/sensor but use sealing tape on upper threads when installing
