I have a coolant leak on my '95 4.0L that I was stuggling to pinpoint. Thought it was the coolant pump, but replaced that with no luck. I finally had it towed to a my local shop who pressure tested it. He says the leak is between the block and timing belt cover, but to even get to it to find out exacly where will take some time (and therefore $$$). My suspicion is that there is a crack in the block. This is my beater/Home Depot run truck; it has 250k on it and isn't worth much. I am strongly debating pulling the plug on it and donating it as its not worth the cost of a new block. Before I do though, is there anything else in that area that could be leaking that is cheap to replace?
