Hi yall. I was driving home yesterday and my exhaust became extremely loud almost instantly. Scared the bejesus outta me and i pulled into my local oreillys where i looked under the truck and saw an inch long crack in my tail pipe just before the muffler. I assumed that was the issue(first mistake) and bought more pipe and a muffler, pulled the back half of the exhaust, welded it together and went to reattatch it when i noticed the whole thing had come unbolted from the manifold. Unfortunately, i cant seem to find the proper bolt size to replace them with. The oreillys employee had size 1/2-13 on a replacement manifold but i cant seem to get that size to thread properly. Id rather not strip the manifold trying before i confirm these are the right threads. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
