I know there's allot on the Web and I've spent a while reading but I figured id ask. Which cam should I go with? My 99 is my DD, and I can't choose between the 410 or the 422. 410 sounds easier but 422 sounds more badass.

School me on everything that goes into putting both cams in, from chipping them to which valve springs to use etc

Also do I need to port and polish or would it not do anything?

410 is a ...don't need to do much thing, to get the potential out of the 420, it is designed to work best with headers, intake /head porting , higher compression pistons , headers and a chip. There should be a million threadds on the net, lik eon other Ranger and explorer sites and in this one as well.
