I was just wounding if Ford made any changes from the 1998 3.0 and the 1999 3.0. I have been looking at different engine parts like underdrive pulleys and headers and exhaust. And most of it says from 1992 thr 1998, when i put in my 1999 most of it says will not fit. Is there some change that would make that big of change.

Typically 1998 - 2000 are considered the same. Maybe it doesn't count for the engine though. Externally they are the same. My Clymer manual lumps 98 - 2000 as one and the same, including engines.

There are no significant differences between 98-2000. In 2001, the upper intake manifold was changed to a plastic piece that remained for the rest of 3.0 production (and the coil pack was moved to the valve cover as a result). Basically 98+ 3.0s are essentially the same as far as fitment of components is concerned with only minor differences.
