I had to spend 30 years in the seat of Chevy trucks during my work life because Ford never wanted to compete in the Fleet market. If the new Rangers are not updated sufficiently then I would consider a Colorado. Are we wrong to expect "Better"?

Ford has owned the fleet market for quite awhile...

They won't bring back the '98-'12 trucks anyway, they are dead.

I had an 08 colorado W/T, 5sp, 2wd, 4 banger, was a decent little truck, the new colorados do nothing for me.

If/when i begin looking to buy brand new again, im really liking the new superdutys. If only theyd offer a damn manual with the 6.2 (no diesels for me), id be in line tomorrow.

But the ol 97 HD totes my camper just fine, and although the reliabilty of the 460s ive had has been iffy at best, ill stay the course untill my 77 is ready for retirement and the 97 gets regulated to full on work truck duty.

I'd buy one of the old styles without question...I might some day look for one but I know that buying them is going to get harder and harder because they are slowly disappearing.

The newer ones might be OK too but my impression of the European and South American Rangers isn't favourable...mostly due to never having seen one in the flesh. What I've read isn't too bad...but I'd really like to see them and have a ride in one...not some video simulation or recording of someone else bopping along in one.
