$2,000 is for a really nice paint job. That's if you don't have a lot of prep work needing done and that's at most shops.

Go look in the pic's section. A member got his B-series painted at Maaco for $400 and it looks good but remember, you get what you pay for. His didn't look like it needed much and he replaced his bed.

If you are happy with the body and you can do the prep work (sanding, filling etc...) and want PPG, Sikkens or other high end paint you may get away for a grand.

I also see you have future off roading on your description. If that's true don't waist your money on a $2,000 paint job! LOL

Lmao. That's what I was thinking. I'd rather go ahead and get my self bigger tires, and my body lift first.

If you paint it yourself you can get the materials for 300 or so for everything. IMO

If you do the prep work MACCO does a very GOOD paint job. I had them do a mason dump for me(cab , nose, and dump body) in red which is the most expensive color for 400 and it was perfect. But i think the painter seen how much prep work i did(grill out, windows out, all trim, mirrors, door handles removed) and he took his time painting
