Started Tearing Down My Engine..

last night, I got alot tore off Plan on finishing tearing everything else down today, So Monday when my New Heads Arrive I can throw them on. :headbang:

Alot of it is really greasy, is there a Solution I can make and let my parts sit in it to degrease them?

yep, that's what i did. i used a big old bucket that held protein for cows to lick on. worked great, real durable and i could put a bunch of stuff in there. mix some water in there too

well, i didnt rebuild the engine, just took it out cleaned the crap out of it and replace most of the gaskets.

I think I have heard of boiling stuff in antifreeze?
never heard of that, could work i suppose. ATF will clean up some things as well.

Here is another one - been a long time since I built this, I think I was 19 or 20 at the time and I will be 28 in July.



Can't remember the exact spec, but I know .435/.455 @ 111 lda is close on the custom cam, new milled heads, honed, crank polished, new bearings, gaskets, new water pump, matched injectors, MAF conversion, headers, etc.
