. but then i got a 92 sable which was a god compared to the escort.no i no longer own the fiero. i wish i did, its one of the only cars ive had that i liked better than the ranger. small car+well built sbc=fast!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive had 2 94 escorts...both sedans...i hated them both. the 1.9L worked so hard to get up hills the gains in mpg on the highway were killed instantly
Ah ok, I had an 94 Escort hatchback with a lot more miles. It was a good car, great on gas, and everything worked on it (including the AC, amazingly enough). But, like a lot of the 1.9L's, a valve became unseated and grenaded the motor. I got about 2 1/2 years out of the car, so for $400 I paid for the car, I got plenty of use out of it.
