So.. ready to order or pick up ball joint.. Moog has like 1-5 choices for my truck. 4wd which ones (Moog number) should I get?

There is a post in one of the other sub forums with a link to another forum disusing this very thing. The guy who started the linked post, posted some good info, and part numbers.

I did a search. was reading the tech section again. I see that NAPA has or can get spicer which was OEM.

I put Moog ball joints on mine many years ago. After 5K miles both lowers were done.

If you can find any brand of joint that specifically has the gold-anodized body and blue dust boots, those would be ones to grab (these all come from the same factory that was once Dana Spicer regardless of brand).

Napa's I know are (or at least used to be) good...

I also see "AC Delco" branded joints on Rockauto.com that show the gold/blue joints in the pic:

Motorcraft of course should be good too.

Raybestos at Carquest has the gold anodized looking housing with blue boots.

Pretty sure they were made in Taiwan/China though. :icon_confused:
