Dorman makes a bed bolt kit that is new bolts and U-nuts. I found it wasn't exactly easy to come up with the right size U-nuts and bolts, but then my search brought me to the bolt kits. 924-310 is the Dorman part number

Thanks guys,I need a forward bolt at a minimum. I had to drill out 90% of the frozen bolt. I got the U nut to function but the bolt was no good. A bolt that long with that much thread doesnt grow on trees. The new NAPA in town hasnt impressed me yet. It is also the furthest away. :D

Our local NAPA carries just about everything. The store is geared to serve our local needs (not one size fits all). If they don't have it, it is usually here the next day.

Our local NAPA is about useless. Unless you're friends with the old guys that work there, they act like you're being a difficult customer demanding that they actually work. Place reeks of cigarettes too, with ash trays on the counter. There's a Hovis across the street that's a lot more friendly

It is sad, The new NAPA is a far cry from the one I traded at for 40 yrs. The AZ down town does OK. Close, lotsa stock Open 'til 7 PM on Sundays. All good things when you have a 23 yr old Ford :D
