I cant tell between 2 and 3 digit codes. Can anyone help me figure out what codes are being displayed? Thanks -mike

I had the same problem at first. What I did was to just write the numbers it flashed as a continuous string while it was flashing them. Then I mad a second copy of the same numbers. Divide one set up like it's 3 digit codes and the other like it's 2 digit codes.

Like this:

111111167167172172

111|111|167|167|172|172


11|11|11|16|71|67|17|21|72

Those are 3 digit codes. See how they repeat? When you try to divide them into 2 digit blocks they don't repeat anymore.

Of course if all else fails, you could buy one of these: OBD1 Code Reader

Post up what you're getting an we'll try to help.

Thanks luke ill give it a try.. I've watched the video over and over and was guessing 122 and 335 but I wasn't sure so I will write them down like that. Why would it flash the same code twice? Im so used to my obd1 jeep which has maybe 60 possible codes lol

The twice thing is just he way Ford set it up. I'm guessing it was to increase the chances of getting it right.
