washer lift ?

i have heard of stacking washers under the front coil seat to lift the front of a b2 any advice on this?

Because of thread length availability on the coil spring mounting stud you are limited in just how much you can lift this way,

My truck wears three 1/4" thick washers on the drivers side and two washers on the right.

This was done to level the truck side-to-side and deal with a an limitation in alignment adjustment.

i welded mine up today they are about 7/8"-1" is there enough thread?

The problem isn't the washers you are going to add it is the washers you are going to add, plus the factory spring retainer plus the thickness of the radius arm plus thew absolutem minimum thread engagement in the beam.

And with more than 3/4" and discarding some other hardware you are as far as the threads will allow.

If this is the case are are people putting 2 inch spacers on some? what do your do to make more threads?
