Looking at replacing 88B2 Rear axle w/ ABS w/ an 84B2 w/o ABS. The 84 was Automatic, the 88 manual. Haven't yet determined if the gear ratio's are the same. Just curious if it is even worth the time checking the gear ratios. Anyone done this before? The ABS thing is what I am worried about.

Well, since the 88's RABS system sucked anyway, just make sure the gears match and go to town.

The system won't work without the rear speed sensor, but that's ok. Just go on without it.
