You're going to have to be a lot more specific. You've only given us ten words, and two of those are abbreviations and two more are numbers.Cost est. for a 4 cyl. 98 ranger?
$239.95 with information available, parts only, your labor would also be required for installationCost est. for a 4 cyl. 98 ranger?
Oh I am so glad that I am not the only one who gets fed up with idiots and has to start knocking heads every so often. You're going to have to be a lot more specific. You've only given us ten words, and two of those are abbreviations and two more are numbers.
What possibilities have you been considering, and are there various options you're interested in or don't care about?
What model/trim package/options does your Ranger have?
What possible pre-existing cruise control equipment is in place on your Ranger, although it may not be functional right now?
What is your mechanical and electrical skill and experience level, and will you be doing the work yourself, or paying a professional to install it?
I installed a complete factory cruise control on my '88 2.9l Ranger for $40. This was because the previous owner had swapped in a factory tilt steering assembly which included the necessary steering wheel buttons, "clock spring" assembly, and wiring harness. I pulled the remaining needed parts from an '87 2.9l Bronco 2 at a salvage yard, paid $40 for the parts, and installed them in my vehicle myself. I already have the factory service and electrical manuals, and extensive electrical and mechanical ability.
I would recommend you start by reading the Cruise Control section of the tech library, and follow that by entering "98 Ford Ranger Cruise Control" into Google, Amazon, and eBay searches, and read each of the first several results.
