whatsup? btw...found a built '79 dana 60 for 2500, just across the bay too!!! he wanted 3500, but i talked him down to 2500:thefinger::yahoo:

starts off as the '79 high pinion dana 60, with 5" of driverside tube open between the diff and inner C(the reason why they are soo expensive)

yukon 538s

300m super joints

300m driveflanges

superior chromos

detroit lunchbox

high steer

3/8" diff cover...

i priced everything out myself, to buy brandnew, and paying 1200 for the axle, it comes out to about 4400.

so i think 2500, and only having to drive 25min is badass!!! cant wait!! now just to get some h1's, 42s, build the sterling, and build a doubler....the 'con is a few weeks away.

thank you. sweet!! make sure to post up some pics! i liked the baja claw bias for the most part, especially the side walls, but they were sooo f'ing wide!!! they looked like giant balloon tubes on my truck. id say, so far my favorite has been the tsl bias up front, with boggers on the rear. they were 38.5x16x15, but for some reason didnt look as wide as the mt's. i need to post some pics up, but rightnow im running 38.5x15.5-16.5 tsl radials and they are the perfect size i think. oh yea, one tons are in and done!!!!!!!!:yahoo: took them out last weekend, was much more confident in my truck and alot more abusive towards it and didnt have any problems:icon_confused:, for the first time. anyways, if i had options, i dont think the baja claws are the tire for me, i used them cuz at the time its what i had available.

trip is this weekend, but im not going. too busy trying to move, and have other obligations that i need to put first:sad:...im hoping to go within the next month or two, but it wont be this weekend. still need to build sliders, build a doubler, possibly bob the bed, get 42s and beadocks, and should probably put in a new clutch. are there any better than OE clutchs for the 4L/m5od?

i just read my thread from the beginning, looked at the posting dates, then realized about 5 months ago i had a pretty much stock ranger, then swapped in 1/2 tons, drove on them for approx. 3-4 months, then went to tons. i thought that was pretty funny. i feel like i never have time to work on my truck, but 4 axle builds/swaps in 5 months is pretty good!! hahahaha:icon_thumby:
