This has probably been covered before, but, I am SO tired of not having a place to put my cups when driving the B2. Is it possible to swap in explorer seats with the center console?

I have a 5-speed with a manual shift t-case. Surely they made a console to fit around those right?

You can swap in the seats by just bolting them to the BII tracks.

I am sure the Explorer shorty center console would bolt to the floor if you did some new drilling. There never was a console to go around the manual transmission and manual transfer case.

Both of those modifications are in my NEAR future. I hate the BII seats, and I too hate not having a cup holder; well the shitty little indentions that Ford put into the top of the center console wont hold shit.

I was at the pic n pull friday and they had a crapload of explorer/mountaineers there all with seats. The only problem is they were mostly late model, and none of them had blue seats to match.

Hrm

You can dye them if you get the leather seats. If you plan on dying them, get the grey as it is closer to blue than the tan is.

You might also be able to get a set of seat covers that replaces the factory covers.

I will have to make another trip this Friday.

I will take some pics and see what I can figure out.
