I have an '89 BII with the high back bucket seats. They are starting to show their age and I was wondering if anyone has come across some comfortable bucket seats (after market or from another car/truck/van whatever) that I could swap in.

The current seats are comfortable enough but if I'm gonna swap in some new ones I may as well get some opinions on whats out there and whats been used in other swaps.

Even if you have another non-RBV with some good seats let me know.

Keep in mind my truck is a dedicated wheeler, so comfort on a bumpy trail is a must but they do not need to be power adjustable and heated etc. And it would be nice if the seats could have a bit of wrap around support on the sides.

Thanks in advance.

i got a set from a 92 ranger, with inflatable side bolstering and leg supports. very comfortable, and feel almost sporty. may even be what you have?

No mine are just the standard bucket seats. I'm not a huge fan of the buckets with the leg supports though.

I used a seat out of a Tempo in my first Ranger...worked well...but it wasn't plush by any means...I like the high-back seats of Rangers and Explorers (some of those are really nice)...currently have some low-back seats that I want to change out as soon as I can...looking for the high-backs...maybe leather this time around...
