Got a 94' 3.0 2wd ranger. Lately ive been going out to the everglades and running dirt trails with some friends. They have bigger trucks like 1500 silverados and stuff like that so im guessing their steering just feels better from the start.
We go about 50 down these trails and my truck is all over the place the whole time and last time i almost lost control so i ended up slowing down and having to catch up later.
So does anybody know how to make the steering feel better? New parts to add to it? Or maybe suspension parts.

try reducing your tyre pressures and see if that helps.

^^what Marty said.

also what could be contributing to your issues is that those full size trucks are making wider ruts that your truck is bouncing in and out of (left side in left rut then shift to the right side in right rut) lowering the tire pressure will help on that quite a bit as the tire will have more room to collapse a little bit as it goes in and out of the rut, thus giving it a softer feel to the steering wheel.

From the picture it looks like a alignment is needed.
Top of the front tires look to be sticking out father than the bottom. (Positive camber).

You don't drive Ford Trucks, you herd them.

This has been true for every Ford truck I have owned or driven.
I almost crash my GM car when I first drive it after the Ford, lol, way to responsive.

Back roads are another story, yes lower tire pressure and tweak to suspension would be in order.

I have crappy coil spacers to fit the tires. Im getting a 4 inch lift in a few days with all the needed parts for it to ride right so that should help there.
