Howdy folks. I just found this site a few days ago and it's already been helpful so I figured I would join up.

Just bought my first ranger about 6 months ago (2009 2wd 2.3 auto) just a bare bones base model truck but its very clean and well maintained with only 60,000 miles. I don't plan on doing anything crazy with it, just a daily driver. I did a few mods like add fog lights, replace most of the bulbs with leds, add a police spotlight, and installed a vhf radio (I work at a marina and like keeping in contact with my boaters while in the truck).

Anyway thanks for having me and I look forward to sharing some of my experience and asking a ton of dumb questions!

I unfortunately didn't take any pics while installing it (didn't think of it until I was nearly finished). The most frustrating part was drilling the center hole since it's thin sheet metal at an angle so it's easy to screw up. Takes a light hand and patience. Other than that it's pretty straightforward.

As soon as I can figure out how to post pics on this site I'll do a small write up.
