[SIZE="4"]TIME/SIZE] bout 3 hrs if you work diligently Disclaimer: The Ranger Station.com, The Ranger Station.com Staff, nor the original poster are responsible for you doing this modification to your vehicle. By doing this modification and following this how-to you, the installer, take full responsibility if anything is damaged or messed up. If you have questions, feel free to PM the original poster or ask in the appropriate section of The Ranger Station.com forums. this is a way of replacing your stock door pins with bolts that way you can pop the bolts out and your door comes off (my vehicle is a 1992 ford ranger standard cab with a 4.0) TOOLs=a hammer flat head screw driver 13MM wrench and a dremel tool with miscelaneous grinding stones and cutoff wheels PARTs= 4 3/8 in. bolt that are 5in. long with very little threads (mostly collar) (size needed may vary by vehicle just measure or do like i did geuss and check) total cost bout 8 bucks without dremel tool now then to start off take off the two bolts that hold the door on make sure to have a friend these doors wiegh bout 60lbs each next take a dremel tool and cut sections of the door pin off cut the top of the pin the one that looks dimpled in the middle (cut it like a pizza) next take the blade of the screw driver and place it agisnt each cut peice then hammer them off once theres none left and its just a pin take the crew driver and hammer and knock the pin down out of the hinge now take the bolts and cut the threads off and grind any burs off the bolt once that is complete reinstall the hinge to the door and line the hinges up and put the new bolt in if the bolt doesnt fit grind th bushings and holes of the hinge till there large enough for the pin to slide in easily with no play or little play then bolt the hinge back to the door and line the holes up and put the bolts in (spray some grease or wd 40 to make it slide in easier) you may have to tap the bolts all the way in with the hammer and screw driver lastly for your speaker wire just get a female and male eletrical connectors and crimp on to the spliced wire so you can connect and disconnect now when you want to take the doors off just pop the pins out and there you go now i do not know the laws for each state but for mine in florida you have to have mirrors to be legal so i bought ones that will clamp to the edge of my fender (rat rod mirrors) and im good to go

and i didnt use replacement pins didnt know if they madethem and would probally cost more but above that there only just long enough to fit you a little bit longer so you can put a clip or pin to keep from workin bout out and the head has little teeth to keep from spinning and has to driven in to fit all the way so no go

if i may make a suggestion, get some tractor quick release implement pins, sometimes you can even find ones that are the right size and not have to drill the holes out bigger.

using the implement pins its alot easier to take the doors off by yourself. i always had problems taking the bolts out, the threads would get stuck in the lopsided holes. and necessity is the mother of invention.
