I thought computer cores had to be reprogrammed with the VIN.

You'd need to program your keys in either with forscan or paying someone to do it.

If anyone still wondering. I pulled the PCM, it had a nice coating of coolant on the case and harness. The inside was dirty but it looked like just regular dirt and dust. Didnít clean anything just wiped off the case. Plugged it back in and the truck kinda ran ok, it stalled at first then continued running. It was able to roll forward in drive and accelerate when given gas. Might still get the PCM rebuilt along with the rest of the engine.

Guess a car is just like any other electronic, just have to unplug and plug back in to get things working.
