Good Afternoon,

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum spot. But I am having issues with my drums and I am having trouble finding parts. I have the 10 Inch drums and all I can find are the 9 inch backing plates/support plate. I have been told that they do not use the same support plates so I am curious does any one know where I can find the Support Plate for the 10 inch drums? All I can find are the 9 inch support plate so does anyone know where I can find the backing plate/support plate for the 10 inch drums?

Thank you for all of your help,

Peace

Welcome to TRS :)

Looks like 1997 falls out of the parts catalog, lol

Part number I get is F57Z-2211A as left hand side
Getting F57Z-2212A at right hand side

F5 = 1995
7Z = Ranger

Ford's F5 means the part was changed in 1995 and I am showing a 2009 Ranger uses the same F57Z-2211A backing plate
But when you look it up it says 2004 to 2009, which would NOT have F5 as the starting numbers if it only fit Rangers back to 2004, it would have a 2004 revision part number

And seeing last number as B means 9" backing plate

Thank you very much!! I had now idea that they used the same parts. I looked up on the ford OEM and it said 98 to 2009 and I did not know that they would work for my 1996. Thank you for all of your help on this fix.

I’m having this issue right now. I just found your thread here. I need new backing plates for my 07 with the 10” brakes, but smaller axle hole.
