Is it bad? Depends on what you did with the whole trailer. Some things would set off a porn meter, while other things might bring out a WTF response.

"I accidentally ___________ a whole trailer. Is this bad?"
Please add a verb to this sentence, so it can make sense.

Ok, we know you did it, we know it was an accident, we know the "whole thing" was involved.

We still don't know what you did.

How do you accidentally tow a trailer?

That's like accidentally putting gas in the gas tank.

I accidentally bought a new 5x8 cargo trailer and will be towing it across Canada in 48 hours. I've hauled a few trailers before but with larger trucks and never with my b4000 the total weight of the trailer with the load is about 1300 lbs, is this too much for my bumper? Should I buy a receiver hitch? Is this too much for the truck itself for such a long trip? Sorry to keep people waiting so long for a reply but I don't get on a computer too often

1300 lb? Total? What's that on tongue weight. I believe your bumper is 200lbs tongue weight, as in 200 lbs on your bumper. 1300 is nothing long as your tranny and engine are in ok shape!

You'll be fine. I pull my grandpa's 5x12 on the bumper all the time. I load her up too.

I mean, really it would probably be better if you had a receiver, but as long as the bumper bolts aren't rotted really bad, you should be ok.

Incidentally, how does one "accidentally" make a purchase as large as a trailer?
