I've been trying to locate a coolant leak which I have found but I am unsure which of the 2 in this photo is the coolant temp sensor.. I believe it's the one on the left with a red connector and if so is the one on the right the temp reader for my dash gauge ? I'm confused.. Thanks..

Here is a picture of the leak itself in action right under where the red connector is and i can't unscrew it because the hose fitting at the bottom hits the bracket where my tension pulley is.. wa wa wa...

Disconnect one and see if your temp gauge works, if not then the other is the sensor.

normally one wire is the sender for the guage or light and the two wire is for the computer.

In that case it looks like the one on the right has 2 wires but the one on the left looks like it has a red and white but id have to look again. If the one on the left is just the gauge reader I'm thinking the leak right below it could be the cause.. The hose beneath that sensor hooked to that fitting runs down and joins into my lower radiator hose.
