Ok so i have pulled and rebuilt the transmission.

Reinstalled fpund the retaining clip for the hydraulic line. And have now bled the system.

Issue is I push in the clutch pedal and it won't shift. I'm not sure if its a trapped air bubble or if I need to pull it again and replace the slave cylinder and or pressure plate.

If it was working before you took it apart, and is not working now, probably 99% chance of air in the hydraulic system somewhere. If you've never run the master cylinder dry, you probably just need to bleed the slave more. But if the master has run dry, you most likely will need to pull it and bench bleed it.

You may also have to search the threads here for a discussion of pulling the master from the firewall and angling it slightly to bleed. There's a spot in there that traps air sometimes and you can bleed it in the vehicle with everything connected, just not while it's bolted to the firewall.

Well I rebled it this morning and nothing. Pulled the master master and lines and attempted to bleed it. All I got was 2 small bubbles while bench bkeeding it and still nothing.
It's still not releasing and I can't figure out why so I'm done with it at this point

Releasing? meaning you can't push the cylinder down? you can't because the end where it connects to the slave is closed. The master cylinder can only work when it is connected to the slave cylinder with the fabled and hated "quick connect" that is far from quick. Also the master cylinder cannot be pushed in and is rock solid there is no air.
