Real or Unicorn?

Looking for axle code 85 or F5.

If it doesn't exist; I will stop wasting my time and start looking for 95/F5; the 8.8" equivalent.

they don't exist.

if they did it would not have been necessary to make more than half of the D28/45 Hybrid axles that were produced...

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
they don't exist.

good point.

for rangers....3.08-3.27-3.45-3.73-4.10 from the data i have seen, though 3.08 is supposedly not a ranger option with a 7.5 rear... i did see the tag an pulled the cover on several gen 1 and gen 2 and gen 3 rangers with both big and little brakes..

2.73-3.08-3.27-3.45-3.73-4.10-4.56 gears exist.

heard of 4.88, never seen em....heard of 3.55 but never seen them. only seen them in the 8.8 on rangers

Thanks guys - I will focus on finding an 8.8" with the 3.55s I want.

I had an 8.8" Limited slip axle with 3.55 gears sitting in my yard and someone
stole it...

They also stole my heavy duty ramps and an entire 6' Ranger bed worth of scrap (bent or cracked) aluminum rims (a couple hundred dollars worth of aluminum scrap)

In the unlikely event I figure out who did it you'll hear about it on the TV News
because I intend to do the SOB in by either Impalement or something appropriately
roman (Being raped to death by a wild donkey?) and THAT will make the TV news.
