I need to find exhaust manifold to head bolts for my 2.9 rebuild

i've used the search feature on the forums and have found little
information, on most posts, people were asking about mani to y pipe studs

anyone know where i can pick them up? thanks guys!

it's an M8x1.25 thread IIRC, i had to re-tap 5 of mine, that's how i remember

they are all different lengths though. Is there anywhere I can buy a bolt kit?

not sure, check the auto parts stores. i dont recall seeing one, but i put headers on my 2.9 so they came with new bolts. i'm guessing you need a 1.5"-2" bolt, the factory manifolds are pretty thick

I don't know of anywhere to get the bolt kit anymore. A dealer might be able to find you a NOS set.

I went with headers too. Have the set my new engine came with, but they are the 2wd set and get in the way if you have a 4x4.

And Eddie is right, they are 8x1.25s I had to tap a few of my own when I put the 4x4 headers on.
