Odometer not working

Hi guys, I recently replaced the speed sensor on my 95 XL 2.3l manual transmission, after replacing the sensor the speedometer now works, but the odometer and tripmeter still don't work, I have two sets of clusters and they don't seem to work on any of them, what should I check?.

Fairly common issues with Ranger electric speedo/odo setups

Odometer uses an electric motor to turn a plastic worm gear, most common is the plastic gear breaks but motor can fail as well.

Google: 1995 ford ranger odometer motor

Couple of videos
All 1995 and up Rangers had same issue

Recent poster also had 2 instrument clusters with no odometer, turn out one had bad gear and the other a bad motor, so he swapped parts and got a working one

Looks like I have the same issue, one motor isn't working and the gear is broken on the other one, I replaced the gear and will take it for a spin later to check if it is working :icon_thumby:
