You're talking about exhaust manifolds right?

I have them on mine. They fit perfect with the AOD but they aren't the most performance oriented pipes out there. I am told that FRPP has reintroduced the performance version of the Explorer pipes and they can be had through Summitt. I haven't been able to confirm that though.
This is the only pic I have of mine. This is the driver's side.

Dang -- that's cutting real close to the headers w/ the plug wires though - anyone have any pics of other headers in and installed?
I think I'm going to have to throw up a post in the swap forum looking for pics and all that...

That picture is from when I initially put the motor together. You are right, plug wires do get close. I have since put in new wires and secured them well so there is no contact with the pipe.
Here are pics of the Tri-Y's on baddad457's truck..

But these will only work with small bellhousing transmissions.

I'm running the Duff headers. They seem to work fine only complaints being 2 piece pass. side and the pass. side dumped out right into trans. crossmember. I'm also running the big bellhousing, 164 tooth flywheel. The driver side hooks underneath and just touches the dust cover. they're supposed to be equalized also.
oh one more thing they come with bolts but if you loose any you have to get real short ones to fit on the back side of each pipe.

Hedmans work well on 4x4 with AOD, despite what some say. Have to clearance headers for bolts into block though
