I have a 98 4x4 and the radiator is leaking through the a very small crack in the plastic in the radiator. It's near the top, so the radiator actually holds 7/8 of the anitfreeze. So my question is - do i need to worry about this. I live in Atlanta and we drop below 32 a few times a year. It has apparently run this way for years and I only noticed when I filled up the reservoir and a week later it was empty again.

Thanks

Yes, you need to change the radiator.

4.0l OHV engines are notorious for cracking heads when over heated, expensive repair.

Radiator replacement is not as expensive and not hard to do, literally 4 screws(2 for shroud, 2 for rad) and 2 clamps(and 2 trans cooler lines if so equipped)

Coolant isn't free, if you are having to adding coolant once a week, well............

You don't have to worry. Just replace you radiator and you should be worry free, at least about your radiator.
