That would be your EGR valve, wouldn't it? Yeah...vehicles don't like running properly when vaccum lines aren't plugged where they're supposed to be

My credo
Don't vote Democrat.
That's the new FLEGR valve.

Floppy-EGR. Only found on certain models. Like yours, apparently...

Alright I just took a quick look and well the one I got to relplace it is kinda different, the top hole nozzel is in the middle and mine was on the side.. it still hooks up but does it work differently?? here is a picture

THEY are the same size its just the angle I took the picture on.. im just worried because the hole on the top is in a different place so maybe it doesnt work the same inside?

If its good then im ready to put her on and she if she runs! :yahoo:

All that matters is if it will hold vacuum pressure. Also check that the valve works good also. With no vacuum it should be all the way closed blow on both sides so you know it seals in both directions that way your testing the valve seal on top also. if you have or can get a hand vacuum pump then you can check that it opens and holds pressure in the diaphram. Make sure you put new gaskets made for the high temps or it will develop a vacuum leak and if it was me I would start looking for a new egr because there is not telling when a used one will fail and it is never at the right time.
