Discuss. . . It will be a 50/50 rig half trail half street. . . Running 36s to start eventually 39s.

Should i just cut down a 60 and run it? i like the idea of fullwidth with stock
h1 rims, the only thing im really worried about it have the front be narrower then the rear and suffering affroad because of it...

What do u guys think??? scrap the 70 and go 14bolt or 60 or just run it. Eventually it will trail only im sure.

I would personally go with a D60 FF (full float) for ground clearance and buildability. If you really think you need a D70 (they have HORRIBLE ground clearance), find a Dana 70U out of an F350(better ground clearance), swap discs onto it and be done with it. Seeing as you have a 98, I would also go with a Sterling so you can have the tone ring in the rear axle. Its all preferalbilitly, really.

Good luck, and I hope someone else with more knowledge chimes in soon

was hopng id get atleast a few more replies. . . .

So turns out its not a dually model, its i think 65.5in wms or so and with the rims im using its only gonna be maybe 2in wider per side.:headbang:

Which i think will be perfect especially once i get the 44in the front.

Anything i should look out for when running this axle???

Another question i had, was. . . am I able to just the wiring for the rear abs plug on the axle and just cap the ends? Or do i need it still???
It doesnt control my speedo only my abs and i removed my RABS along time ago anyways????
